Airline passenger officers assist airline passengers between flights with boarding and flight procedures, locating luggage, giving directions and chaperoning unaccompanied children in transit.
An airline passenger officer may perform the following tasks:
Airline passenger operators have to work shifts which may include weekends, public holidays and nights
Provides Flight Planning, Flight Following, Movement Control and Dispatch. GAD's FAA licensed Dispatchers are highly experienced individuals who are responsible for the safe, expeditious turnaround of all flights. Capable of handling flights from anywhere in the world, from a flight control center that spans two international terminals, equipped with the latest technology including multiple-line telephones, high-speed internet connections, faxes, conference systems, SITA messaging systems, Intercoms, Ground-to-Air VHF, Radar Screen, Departure Control System, Activity Control System, Baggage Reconciliation System, Flight Information Display System, Closed-circuit Television and satellite television to access news networks. Must be able to multitask between Operations and Weight and Balance including the handling of more than one flight. . Is flexible with hours due to the nature of the Airline industry and it’s requirements.
Responsible for overseeing below the wings services of the aircraft, bagroom, and liaise between operations and bag room agent
